THE ROLE WILL INCLUDED BUT NOT BE LIMITED TO:
1. Helping GM monitoring all projects are run efficiently and with maximum cost efficiency;
2. Providing contractual support around contract preparation and administration, document control;
3. Cost Estimation and Planning;
4. Procurement & tender evaluation;
5. Negotiation & preparation of contract documents;
6. Verification of progress payment claims;
7. Valuations;
8. Cost reporting;
9. Final accounts;
10. Contracts administration;
11. Management of Quantity Surveying/Procurement Process.
THE SYCCESSFUL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE:
• 3 years’ experience in NZ construction industry as QS, PM or contracts assistant;
• Competent in Measurement Programmes;
• Familiar with New Zealand building standards;
• Proven knowledge of the New Zealand building code and regulations;
• Relevant Quantity Surveying degree;
• Strong documentation and organisation skills;
• Exposure to contracts, procurement processes and documentation;
• Strong attention to detail;
• Excellent computer skills with the ability to pick up new programs/systems easily;
• Good communication skills with staff, management and clients;
• Professional, responsible and self-motivated;
• Excellent English language skills, good oral Chinese language skill is preferred.
